Where can I check to see if I'm registered?

You can check online.

Can I add packet mailing after I register?

Yes, you can add packet mailing after you register up to 2 weeks prior to race day. To add packet mailing after you have registered:

  1. Login to your Enmotive account
  2. Once logged in, click Registrations on the black toolbar on the left
  3. Click the three dots in the upper right corner of your registration and select ‘View Registration’
  4. Scroll down and select Packet Mailing and add to your registration

Can someone else pick up my packet for me?

Yes! If someone is picking up your packet, please ensure they have either your confirmation email or a picture of your photo ID (a picture on your phone works great!).

Can I switch distances?

Yes. You may switch from one race to another as long as the race that you’re switching to isn’t already sold out.

  1. To do so, simply log into your account (you may need to reset your password first).
  2. Once logged in, click Registrations on the black toolbar on the left.
  3. Click the three dots in the upper right corner of your registration and select ‘View Registration’
  4. Click edit next to category and make your selection. You will not be refunded if going down in distances and you will be charged the difference if going up.

Can I change my shirt size?

Yes, you can change your size after you register. To change sizes:

  1. To do so, simply log into your account (you may need to reset your password first).
  2. Once logged in, click Registrations on the black toolbar on the left.
  3. Click the three dots in the upper right corner of your registration and select ‘View Registration’
  4. Click edit next to products and make your selection.

What is your refund policy?

No refunds under any circumstances, including event cancellation or postponement. We spend all the money we receive from runners on preparing for each event in advance, from buying all the shirts and medals to paying for business operations, including our employees’ salaries. This means that if an event is canceled or postponed because of weather, pandemics, or other forces beyond our control, we won’t be able to provide refunds. In these rare situations, we’ll convert the race to a virtual one and mail you your full race goodie bag.

When will I get final information on the race?

The race info packet will be emailed to all participants in the week leading up to the event.

How to add packet mailing to my registration?

To add packet mailing after you have registered follow these steps:

  • Login to your Enmotive account.
  • Once logged in, click Registrations on the black toolbar on the left.
  • Click the three dots in the upper right corner of your registration and select ‘View Registration’.
  • Scroll down and select Packet Mailing and add to your registration.

The deadline to add packet mailing to your registration is November 24, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CST.

Is there a course time limit?

To ensure that all roads can be re-opened to the public, all participants must be through the finish line on Windward Avenue by 10:20am.

1 Hour and 50-minute course limit for 10k.

Can I participate with a stroller/scooter/bike?

The use of wheeled devices by participants is limited to approved AWD wheelchair, handcycle and duo team participants only. Strollers, skateboards, rollerblades, unauthorized bicycles or any other wheeled devices are not permitted.

To ensure the safety of all participants, athletes requiring additional support (wheelchair, handcycle, crutches or guide) must adhere to the Ventures Endurance Athletes With Disabilities Event Rules found here and receive written approval from the Race Director, no less than 21 days in advance of the event.

Can I walk this race?

Walking is allowed so that all participants finish by 10:20am.

Participants not meeting this time limit will kindly be removed from course to ensure that all roads can be re-opened to the public.

Can I run with my dog?

No, we do not allow dogs on course for the safety of our runners.

Are there awards?

Awards for top male, female, and overall time will be awarded for each distance. We will not be awarding by age group at this time.

Is there an age limit?

Runners must be at least 8 years of age or older to run the 5K, and 10 years of age or older to run the 10K.

What are the AWD (athletes with disabilities) guidelines and event rules?

Ventures Endurance happily welcomes all athletes to participate in our events. Athletes with Disabilities (AWD) include, but are not limited to the flowing athletes, Blade Runners, Visually Impaired Runners, Adaptive / Guided Runners, Pushed Athletes, Push Rim, Racing Chair and Hand Cycles.

To participate as an AWD athlete you must notify the Race Director of your participation a minimum of 20 days in advance. This allows our staff to ensure the safety and security of each athlete on the course prepare the ES (early starters) corral for athletes. To ensure your spot and be approved as an AWD participant please contact awd@venturesendurance.com. Should there be a duo team, a coupon code may be provided for the pusher/coach by emailing awd@venturesendurance.com.

Virtual Event FAQs

Where can I run/walk?

Anywhere! This is your virtual run, and we want you to complete it wherever and whenever you want between November 16 and December 21.

What items are included with the Santa Monica-Venice Christmas Virtual Run?

The Virtual Christmas Run includes a festive swag item and the merriest finishers medal, plus a virtual bib!

When do I need to complete my run?

You can complete your run anytime. Once you complete your run, you can log your results online. After that, you can download your Finisher’s Certificate, see how you rank on our active leaderboard, and upload photos to share with fellow participants. To receive a Finisher’s Certificate, your run must be completed and logged by December 31st.

How do I track my distance and time?

For the Virtual Run, we accept results on the honor system, but the most accurate tracking is typically via a device with GPS tracking.

How do I log my results?

Click the Log Result button on your Virtual Run registration to enter your time. Once you’ve entered your run time, click the Finisher Certificate button to download your personalized Finisher Certificate.

When will my packet ship?

Packets will begin to ship 1-2 weeks after the event.

Do I need to submit results to get a medal?

No. Your medal will be mailed to you with your packet after you register. This way, you’ll have it ready for you the moment you finish your run.

Do you ship internationally?

The Virtual Christmas Run is currently available only for addresses within the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.

What do I do if my goodie bag doesn’t fit? Can I swap it?

We do not offer any size exchanges post packet shipment. All changes to sizes need to be made prior to confirming registration. We highly recommend that all participants take care to view the sizing chart to order the correct size.
